This past weekend TechCruch hosted their annual Hackathon, which brought together hackers and developers from all over the world, who joined together as teams to hack a product within a 24- hour time slot. Disrupt is the exciting conference following the Hackathon that features speakers addressing the most important issues facing today’s tech world and brings together the best up-and-coming startups in the marketplace today.

Startup Alley

Handybook has the amazing opportunity to be a part of Startup Alley on Tuesday, April 30! We will be one of 50 startup companies that will demo their technology and innovative ideas to the startup community. Each company in Startup Alley must be less than 2 years old, with less than $2.5 million in funding in order to be a part of the conference.

We can’t tell you how thrilled we are to be presenting next to some of the most influential startups and people in the industry today. We look forward to connecting with other innovators, entrepreneurs, old friends and new, all united through TechCrunch Disrupt NY. Handybook on the Streets- Greenwich Avenue Festival

One of our favorite parts of New York City are the colorful street fairs that turn the blur of everyday traffic into streets filled with beautiful artwork, delicious food from all over the world, and amazing people every weekend. Handybook was lucky enough to be one of over 40 vendors at the Greenwich Avenue Festival last Saturday, April 20. We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful warm April weather and talking to some of our favorite people in the world- you! Our fellow festival- goers and street wanderers shared some of their favorite Handybook experiences and went home with Handybook discounts, free swag, and balloons! Lets be honest though, all anyone really wants from a street fair on a sunny Saturday is free balloons, right??
